Hello All! Long time no talk. How have you been? Still checking out my blog? I know I haven't lol. Well, as usual I have been busy with school...BUT I have two weeks left and I will be officially done with school forever. Time to really think about my future. Time to actually act on my goals. I'm pretty good with reaching my goals, but now it's time to achieve the long term goals. It's scary. Change is scary, but I'm already fully embracing these changes. I can't wait to actually start living guys. Till then, here's what I've been up to since my last post. I'll get more in depth with my life later. I promise to keep up with the blog as soon as I'm free from deadlines. Hope you're all well!

If someone were to ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I think I’d have an immediate answer to that. But if it’s not the answer you want to hear, then why give me the “oh you poor, poor soul” look?

Not everyone is fit to be the iconic business guru or the smartest doctor or scientist. There are many pleasures in the world that satisfies others, don’t criticize someone because they want to do something other than the norm. Congratulate them for being different, for being the voice of their generation, for wanting to change the world in an artistic way. Welcome the idea that everyone was made to make a difference in the world, no matter their profession or lifestyle.

Mood Board: October

Trying to get back into the groove of things and I was feeling a little creative. I went mini shopping today and by that I mean that I went out to buy props for a shoot and I ended up buying a pair of jeans and a tartan skirt. Anything to make myself feel better, right? I'm totally dressing up like a Haim sister tomorrow, particularly Danielle. Between the three, my style is between Danielle and Este. My sister is definitely an Alana. So as you can see, they are sort of the reason I did this mood board. It was time for one anyway. I'm definitely feeling the Halloween spirit this year, but I'm also loving the plums and cranberry colors that simply speak fall. It doesn't get cold in Miami so I'm itching to travel to wherever it does get cold so that I can actually experience what fall is supposed to feel like. Ugh. I'm rambling now, please enjoy this months mood board!

I honestly don't know where to start. These past couple of months since my last post have been a whirlwind of WTF, chaos and more WTF's. Also, I really don't know HOW my laptop is someone working. I banged it and semi cleaned it with the air can compressor thingy, and it's been up and running since Sunday. I probably jinxed it just now. Well, let me just vent with what has been happening.

So many of you who still follow me know that I live in Florida, and if you have been living under a rock then let me tell you how Hurricane Irma came and went. It was pure chaos and panic wondering where exactly the eye of the hurricane was going to hit. Was it going north? was it going south?

Travel: Kennedy Space Center

We took my dad to the Kennedy Space Center the week before father's day, and I'm glad we did because he loved it. My family and I have been wanting to travel for a while now, even if it was for just a weekend, and I thought "where would my dad really enjoy himself?" Of course, I immediately thought about NASA and how much he loves watching everything space! So it was perfect. We went away for the weekend and went to the Space Center for a day. It's true when they say that you can't go through everything in a day, but from what we saw, it was pretty great. Besides the fact that it was raining there were places to hide and explore for hours.

Once we got there, the first thing we saw was the Rocket Garden. Again, it was raining, and at that time it was sprinkling, so we walked around and saw the different rockets. The name of the garden itself is self-explanatory.

Hey Guys, Sorry I've been lost. I needed some time for myself and away from blogging for a bit. I had a scare last night while driving and I'm still pretty shaken up about it. I'm okay but my car needs to be fixed a bit. Just when things were starting to be okay, something out of the blue happens. Obviously you can't help it. Things happened that way it was supposed to happen, and it sucks because it adds on to things that need to be paid or fixed, but that's life. So now I'm focused on getting my classes paid and fixing my car. Staying positive and hoping for the best.

I promise to get back to blogging. Slowly but surely. Scouts honor. I just need to get my priorities straightened out. Thanks for holding on.

Oh, and Happy 4th of July! I hope you're enjoying it with your family and friends wherever you are! Please stay safe, and remember to protect your pets from fireworks.

Mood Board: June

I have been feeling pretty down lately, so I was actually surprised that I found myself making a playlist yesterday and now this month's mood board. I guess all I need to distract myself for a couple of hours is to create. I love the colors in this mood board, it just screams fun. At least for me. From soft palettes to darker ones, this pretty much sums up my mood right now. I love it.

Playlist: June 2017

I lied. Well not really, but I did say that I was going to make two playlists for the month of May since I did not do one for April. WELL, I only did one for May. I didn't realize how busy I was last month, but nonetheless here is JUNE's Playlist.

It's almost time for the summer and these are the current tunes I'm currently into. It's crazy that One Direction aren't together anymore and that each member is out with their own style of music. I'm not that into One Direction but I'm definitely into each of the guys different music journey if you want to call it that. Also, Haim is back...FINALLY! I can't wait to listen to their new album. It's long overdue. I hope these songs get you in the mood for summer, because it certainly is working for me. Enjoy!

TV: May Mood Board

I realized that I never actually made a TV Mood Board as I was cleaning out my blog. The travesty. In all honesty, I haven't watched much television since Parks and Recreation ended, and Game of Thrones comes once a year. That's why I stick to Netflix. I wait until the seasons are over and binge-watch shows, but yes, occasionally I will watch a show weekly, especially if it's Game of Thrones. So ta-da, here is my first TV Mood Board. I did brainstorm a little, asking myself which shows I actually enjoyed and I came up with the following: 13 Reasons Why, Bates Motel, Big Little Lies, Riverdale. With the exception of Bates Motel, the other three are relatively new and/or a limited series. They all have a couple of things in common though like death, mental issues, and murder mystery. All pretty enjoyable to watch.

May 8, 2017

Hello lovelies. Happy Monday, or not so happy Monday since it's the beginning of the work week. To each their own. How was your weekend? I spent mine with my sister, just hanging out and treating ourselves a bit. We went to this ice cream shop called Walls Old Fashion Ice Cream, and it was nice hanging out. The ice cream really did hit the spot for my sweet craving yesterday. Besides treating ourselves, we have been good about going to the gym, like today. I feel like it's finally sticking and I'm pretty committed so I'm happy about that.

There has been a lot on my mind lately, and I have not been writing them down even though I should. Random thoughts and ideas here and there. Too much thinking, but yeah the gym helps. I'm looking into writing again, even if it's just for myself. So I've been researching resources to help with staying focus. Any I should look into?

Well, I'm off to research. Have a great day!

Playlist: May 2017

I finally did it guys. I made a playlist again! I know there wasn't one in April, but I decided to make two this month to make it up. Here is the part one of this month's playlist. Honestly, I hit up Spotify and browsed new music. I have Apple Music, but sometimes it's harder to find music and artists I like there unlike Spotify where I can just easily access random artists and listen to them to see if I like them. Just me? I don't know, but I made this playlist with songs I'm currently listening to non-stop. Of course my girl Lana Del Rey is in it. What kind of playlist would it be without her? Especially when waiting for the summer. That's another factor in this playlist: SUMMER. Hope these songs get you in the mood and give you awesome vibes while we wait for summer!

Mood Board: May

It's the first of May! Can you believe it? We are nearing the half-way point of the year, how crazy is that? Crazy. I'm currently enjoying my summer-free-from-school vacation. I still have work, but I have downtime now to relax, binge-watch Netflix shows, work out and freaking travel. My family and I decided to go to Cape Canaveral some time in June as a family trip. It's much needed. So in a way this mood board is inspired by beauty travel inspo, and the color palettes I'm currently liking right now. SO MUCH TO DO, I'M SO EXCITED!

How's it going? I know, another work week, but it's another day to be grateful for. I'm currently making this month's mood board and looking for songs for the first half of the month's playlist (since I didn't do one for April), so I'll keep today's intro short.

Not much going on right now, just dealing with on/off rain, which is much needed. Regardless, it's freaking hot! I can't wait to spend my summer at the beach, I'm looking a little pale. Anywho, I went to Portofino on Saturday, which I never been to, and it was pretty good. It was a friend's Graduation day so we had a late dinner.

Yesterday, my sister and I explored a bit. We live near farmlands, so we usually like to take drives for a bit to destress. Then we went to Target and I made these awesome buys. I've been wanting to read The Girls for the longest, and The Last of August is the sequel to A Study In Charlotte, which I posted about last week. I also mentioned that my friend Steph and I are starting a book club, which I'm really excited about. Wine, coffee and books! Not all in the same order. So we are starting with The Girls.

Anyway, this was me earlier. Listen, I love stripes. I live for stripes. I have a lot of stripes in my closet, but these past two semesters have been all about basic colors. And flannel. But since summer is right around the corner, I'm bringing my stripes back. I'm also loosing weight, so I'm feeling myself.

I'm off to finish the mood board. I'm also thinking of cleaning out my blog and have a semi-fresh start. Oh...tonight's the MET Gala, can't wait to see the dresses. Talk to you soon and happy Monday!
