Happy Halloween lovelies! I had quite the productive weekend, and I'm quite tired haha. My sister and I spent the weekend taking pictures in Downtown, 8th street and Wynwood. I didn't mind it at all since it was nice to get out of the house for a bit. Still, gas isn't cute. She got good pictures and we discovered places we didn't even know existed.  I bought us these cute evil eye necklaces. Mine is blue which signifies protection and hers is red which means courage. Best $10 I ever spent.

I finally finished binged watching The Fall. I don't even know what to do with myself now that it's over. So many feels guys. Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan are quite the pair. I think it was a nice resolution to the series if it is the end, but at least to the Paul Specter storyline. Yeah it was slow paced but the last episode really picked up and left me with a WTF face. I love it. I will rewatch the whole series from the beginning.

Anyway, Happy Halloween again. I didn't dress up in full costume but I subconsciously dressed up in black leggings, stripped shirt and black boots. Bandit or regular everyday outfit? Either way it works for class. I especially love seeing the kids costumes on Facebook feed. It warms my heart and takes me to my own various costumes growing up. I hope you enjoy today and please stay safe!

I woke up today thinking it was Friday. It feels like a Friday, and the gloomy weather doesn't help making it feel like a Friday. It started to pour last night and it helped me fall asleep so that was nice. When I woke up today I saw gloom and could hear the wet pavement from the cars passing by. What I miss about the old house is my old room window, and how the rain hit it no matter what. It was such a calming effect. Not here though. Regardless of the rain, it gives me an excuse to wear my comfy ass sweaters. I love sweaters and was debating on whether to wear boots today but I opted for flats. It was a quick errand anyway. I will probably wear boots tomorrow with another comfy sweater.

Anywho, not much planned for today. It's Thursday which means it's Grey's Anatomy day, also RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars reunion is tonight, as well as Finding Prince Charming. I'm going to Downtown tomorrow morning so that should be fun. I guess I'll leave you with a couple of posts. I'm already preparing November's mood boards. I can't wait to finish it. Talk to you soon lovelies!

Movies: October Mood Board

I decided to make mood boards for not just film, but also television. Like my inspiration mood boards, it would be monthly. I think it's also a way to keep my tags and pages tidy, and if you haven't seen the movies and/or tv I post then it's a lovely way for me to recommend them.

Is it just me or are the days longer? Is it time changing soon? November I believe, and that's already in about a week! I'm not complaining, I love this season, it just feels like I haven't accomplished much. Regardless, bring it on! I'm ready for 2016 to be over and start fresh!

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty nice. My sister and I did a little shopping on Friday. We stopped by Urban Outfitters, and stumbled upon these funny books. I didn't buy anything, but it was nice to look at.

On Saturday, we had an impromptu road trip. My sister has to take pictures for her photography class, so we drove around, scouting locations. It was nice to be away from home a bit. I didn't really take pictures for myself because I was driving, but here is my outfit. I felt really 90s in it. Also, I need to clean my mirror.

Sunday I didn't do much, I spent the day doing homework and catching up on my shows. Yesterday's class was pretty cool. A local gaffer stopped by and showed us tips and tricks. It was like a refresher for me, gaffing isn't really my thing, but it's good to know as a future producer. It was nice and breezy outside so no complaints.

Anyway, I hope you're having a great Tuesday. May all the coffee in the world make you feel better!

October 19, 2016

I completely got distracted cleaning up tags and posts and ended up watching Luke Cage on Netflix. I'm only on episode four and so far it is pretty amazing. I did end up watching American Horror Story: Roanoke and OMG that was a plot twist alright. I had to watch it twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I cannot wait to see the rest of the episodes. Anyway, I'm pretty sleepy now so here is a little inspiration. Good Night lovelies.

On Wednesday's we wear pink! Or in my case at least get inspired and write on pretty pink notebooks. I had the intention of  making a bullet journal over the summer and of course, that didn't happen. I think I stopped around July-ish and then completely forgot about it. Because my attempt at making a weekly bullet journal was a bust, I got sad looking at all the empty pages and I naturally ripped those pages out and decided to start again with the month of October. Yeah, I'll write daily reminders, but mostly I'm going to use it to motivate myself to be more productive and organized again. My goal is that it'll help me motivate to write at least short stories, even if it's for myself.

On a good note, I finally received my Mario Badescu skin care samples. It seemed like I did the questionnaire ages ago, but I finally got my samples today in the mail. I can't wait to try it out tonight. I would have started immediately, but I think night time is better and it's when I usually wash my face. Right now I'm using Cetaphil and it's doing womders for my skin but I want to branch out and see what else works. Also, my sister got me hooked on Mario Badescu so there's that.

I'm feeling a little under the weather today, so I'm writing from my bed while season three of Grey's Anatomy is on. I love that show, no matter what anyone thinks. Meredith and Cristina FOREVER! So, I'm going to post a bit and then work on ideas until American Horror Story starts or I get hungry. Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday!

Tuesday's am I right? I had a productive afternoon with my sister. I usually drive her to school and work. It's nice because I'm not home for a couple of hours and I usually head to Barnes and Noble for a bit. The downside is the Miami traffic. People really cannot drive and it's quite irritating. So I decided to treat myself to a little Starbucks today. It's been a while and it sure improved the drive home. I'm supposed to be getting ice cream later with friends, so yay! I should be looking for scene recreation inspiration for my group's next assignment, but here I am procrastinating. Besides, I didn't post this week's fashion inspiration. So off to post I go! Hope you are having a nice Tuesday. Talk to you soon!

October 17, 2016

Another work/school week. I still can't believe it's October. Time really does fly. I was looking for our Halloween decorations, but I couldn't find any. They were probably thrown away when we moved which is a bummer. So far I found two pumpkins that light up and a pumpkin candle holder. How depressing! I'll probably stop by Target's dollar section and see what I can find. Make the house cheerful, or spooky at this point. Then Thanksgiving is next month, then Christmas and before you know it, it's a new year! Crazy. Anyway, how was your weekend? Mine was okay. Friday was a lot of fun. I was working on my groups painting project and it was a nice time hanging out with friends trying to achieve the look we wanted for our painting. The weather was nice. There was a nice breeze, although I wish it wasn't so damn humid. The trip after to 7-Eleven for slurpees was much needed. Here is a picture of moi on set.

I haven't seen the final product thought. Today is presentation day so I'll see it for the first time with the rest of the class. Hopefully it came out great. Well, I'm going to start getting ready for class as I watch Parks and Recreation. BTW, I hope you like the blogs new look. I really am working on making a change and updating you on life. Have nice day guys!

Playlist: October 2016

Okay, that took longer than I expected. Too many Apple Music suggestions and artists, it was kind of hard picking songs and keeping it consistent. I think I came up with a pretty swell playlist. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. I hope you like it!

The weather has been lovely these past few days. The wonderful breeze left from Matthew. South Florida was quite lucky with it being a strong Category 4. I've been looking for ways to donate to the less fortunate, like the people of Haiti. I really need to dig deep and do my research before I send donations like food and clothes. So that's what I'll be doing for the next couple of days.

I have been making it a habit of watching a documentary whenever I can. It's helped with my binge watching habit, and I feel like I learn something every time I watch a documentary. So far I've watched The Hunting Ground, Audrie & Daisy (both are about sexual assault victims). Last night I watch Ava DuVernay's 13th and I was speechless after watching it. The documentary is about the 13th Amendment and how it led to the nation's mass incarceration within the African American community. Trust me, it's a must watch. There was a quote from one of the interviewer's that stuck with me, and that was "you have to shock people into paying attention." And it's true. With this day and age of technology, if something goes wrong or is questionable, a video pops up on YouTube or Facebook, and most of the time it's shocking and it gets people talking. I don't know if history is repeating itself, but we are living in a world where women and people of color are fighting for their life and for their voices to be heard. How did we get here again? Maybe the issues weren't further expressed within the years, or maybe it lay dormant until someone died or was assaulted. It's a scary world. Makes me feel like I need to be more involved and stop ignoring the issues.

Ok, I'm going to make a playlist now. My mind has been all over the place lately, and what better way than to use my creative outlets??? Thanks for listening, and check out the documentaries. They're all on Netflix. Talk to you soon.

October 10, 2016

Monday's amirite? I woke up with a headache, probably from sleeping too much or none at all. There is no in between for me. I'm killing some time watching CNN and writing this post before I have to leave for class. We are practicing with lighting for our painting project that we are to shoot this weekend. It's pretty cool, it's just that I'm definitely not the lighting type. Regardless, my group chose a pretty cool painting. I hope the shoot goes smoothly.

I took the picture below for Snapchat, and I'm feeling pretty nostalgic about photography. I took a class in the spring semester with my sister and it was a lot of fun. I didn't continue with it, but my sister did because it's her major, so I'm a little jealous that she's out taking pictures. I mean, I can shoot too. The problem is that she has access to the lab and I don't. The struggle guys. Well, I'm going to finish getting ready. Hopefully this headache goes away. Thanks for listening.

Good Evening Readers. So South Florida got spared from Hurricane Matthew, but not the rest of the Floridian coast or Georgia, South Carolina and possibly North Carolina coasts. So if you live anywhere of the storms projection, please stay safe!

On a good note, it's been a pretty lazy two days off for mostly everyone. Watching the news made me feel all melancholic and hopeless because of the storms destruction, so I have been catching up on my Thursday shows like Grey's Anatomy and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Also, I'm pretty hooked on Finding Prince Charming which is after RuPaul. A little comedy is much needed after such a somber mood. I'm currently waiting for my sister to get home with pizza. I'm starving and these carrots with ranch dip will not suffice.

Again, if you live near or on the storms path, please be safe. Think of your neighbors if they need help and of course the pets!

Mood Board: October

This took me a while to make guys. I don't know how long I was on Pinterest looking for inspiration, but I found it nonetheless. Vance Joy is no longer singing to me. He has been replaced by The Weeknd. I think this is my favorite mood board thus far simply because it's fall related and I love fall season. I wish I was somewhere in the cold, where I can actually see the leaves change and experience fall. Maybe some day. Hope you like the mood board for October. I think I'm going to make one for every month. It's actually fun for me this way. Enjoy!

Hello Lovelies! Can you believe that it's already October 2nd? This year sure has had it's ups and downs so far. Filled with surprises and twists, I swear I'm living in some sort of alternate universe. I've been in this weird mood where I know changes are coming and I'm mentally preparing myself for it, and I know it's good changes. I guess I'm just anxious for what life has in stored for me. Anyway, below are some of things I've been up to lately. I know I haven't kept up with my Instagram sharing posts here, but I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things. I have Vance Joy singing to me in my ear and I'm posting away! Hope you're having a great Sunday! Until next time loves!
