Books, Books, Books!

If you've been following my blog, then you know that I am an avid reader and always share what I'm reading with you all. I've been kinda off my reading A-game, but now that this semester is almost over I'm going to get back into my reading life. Here are a couple of books I'm going to hint at my family and friends as my Christmas wishlist. There's more I want to read, but this is just a starting point. Enjoy!

Dark Places - Gillian Flynn
Libby Day was seven when her mother and two sisters were murdered in “The Satan Sacrifice" of Kinnakee, Kansas.” She survived—and famously testified that her fifteen-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club—a secret secret society obsessed with notorious crimes—locates Libby and pumps her for details. They hope to discover proof that may free Ben. Libby hopes to turn a profit off her tragic history: She’ll reconnect with the players from that night and report her findings to the club—for a fee. As Libby’s search takes her from shabby Missouri strip clubs to abandoned Oklahoma tourist towns, the unimaginable truth emerges, and Libby finds herself right back where she started—on the run from a killer.

Tuesday

How are you guys this Tuesday, wherever you are? It's still gloomy here, we had a flood advisory since Saturday, and let me tell you, Florida is sinking. My poor car has endured driving in the rain and in puddles, it's going to fry! I'm all for rain, I love the rain but not when I'm driving! It's madness. On a good note, this weather calls for me finally wearing sweaters and boots...FINALLY! I'm all cozied up in school as I write this post, sleepy too. I'm done with a class and have three to go and I can't wait to catch up with my sleep because girl sure needs it. Anyway, I'm going to post a bit before I get back to watching videos for class. I hope you're warm and safe, talk to you soon!

Friday

What a hectic couple of days, it's only getting crazier and it's only FRIDAY! I really can't wait til this semester is over in two weeks, then I'll have myself a nice little break and then back to the chaotic life that is school right now. Three more semesters...so close but so far away. Anyway, that's why I haven't been able to blog much or at all, super busy and drained and I've been having much needed mental health breaks. I really do hope you're well, I'm still here and going to post a bit for now. Talk to you soon.
