Wednesday. Two more days until Halloween. This may be the first time in a while where I'm actually going to dress up. I shall be Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. It was between Lydia and Wednesday Addams family, and as tough as the decision was, I went for Lydia. She's awesome, they're both awesome but still. I will also be going to a Halloween party, I feel so grown up.

Anyway, I got Taylor Swift's 1989, and I am absolutely in lover with it. It's so different from the rest of her work and she just seems more carefree than before. It's fun and I can't stop playing it over and over. I think my favorite song is Style. It's on replay.

I hope you're having a great Wednesday so far. I'll try and post what I can right now.

Happy Saturday! I know it's been forever since I blogged, I apologize, but I have been on midterm mode for 2 weeks and I can finally take a breather. I have one more, but that's in 2 weeks because my professor is super nice or feels sorry for us. Anyway, life has been good and stable. School is good. You know what's better? Gilmore Girls is on Netflix! I am finally on Season 2 and there is no stopping me. I remember watching the show on and off, and binge watching has been great. I laugh when I'm supposed to, and the jokes and banter are hilarious. Anyway, I'm going to post for a bit. Hope you're doing well!

Hello lovelies, sorry for being a ghost this whole week. I have been on midterms mode these past couple of days, and will continue to be for most of next week. I feel exhausted, but I needed to give you guys an update. Anywho, I'll most likely post this weekend, starting tomorrow. It won't be much, but at least I'm trying. Here is a selfie I took the other day to show off my awesome new sweater. Speaking of sweater, Miami finally had a "cold front" aka it hasn't been boiling hot.

Anyway, I hope you are well. Have a great weekend!

I am writing this post while I watch Once Upon A Time, taking a break from note-taking. I had a very stressful weekend where all I wanted to do was hole up in my room and watch whatever I have queued up on Netflix. Which I did. I rewatched the first episode of The Fall, if you haven't seen it then I suggest you do because it's REALLY good, especially if you like a good crime-drama. Also, if you're going to see Fifty Shades of Grey next year and haven't heard of Jamie Dornan, then prepare yourself. You can also find him in Marie Antoinette and season one of Once Upon A Time.

Anyway, I should get back to studying, but The Walking Dead is back tonight. I can do this. Focus! I hope you're having a wonderful end to your weekend. I'm just hoping for a better tomorrow.

Do you ladies ever buy a makeup product blind? Meaning, you can't really test it out because it is sealed and you're like "OK, I'm buying it anyway" try it out and are actually happy with the results? Yeah, that was me today when I bought a lip stain by ELF and I am completely happy with my blind decision. Beyond happy actually. I have two of Kate Moss' Rimmel London lipstick collection, and I love them because one is red and the other is a coral/peach type, but it never manages to last long. I dab it over my lips here and there to give my lips color, but this lip stain is just magical. My new favorite. Can you tell? Add a little EOS lip balm, and I am good to go!

Another lovely gem I stumbled upon today was Lena Dunham's Not That Kind Of Girl, which I am eager and excited to read after Dorian Grey. Ever bought books while you're already reading one? Yeah, I tend to do that. I see a book I like or have been wanting to read while I am already reading one, and instinctively buy it. It's wonderful, you should try it.

Also, it's good to spoil and gift yourself little things here and there. No shame in that. Anyway, I hope you're having a great Tuesday. The weather has been acting like an angsty teenager, and it looks like it'll rain and be sunny at the same time for the rest of the week. I hope you're warm out there. Stay safe and talk to you soon!

Movie: Never Let Me Go

I just got into my Netflix account and became overwhelmed with my queue list, so I got out and decided I'll settle for Never Let Me Go tonight. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro became one of my favorite novels ever! It is beautifully written and intriguing, and it's one of those novels that will make you feel so many things all at once.

October is here. Flu season is here. I seem to have gotten the latter already. I felt the symptoms on Tuesday, felt like I was dying on Wednesday, and I had to miss class today because I knew I wasn't going to make the day. I am writing this post as it starts to get cloudy due to the rainy weather going on lately, cozied up in bed watching a random movie, which is pretty much just background noise. I really long for chilly air, the sweater and boots chilly weather, comfort food, particularly Mac and Cheese, and a good read.

Actually, I went to Barnes & Noble the other day and treated myself to a couple of late birthday gifts. Currently reading The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, correction, The Uncensored Picture of Dorian Grey, and I also bought A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro, whose Never Let Me Go became one of my favorite novels...ever! Anyway, I really hope you're having a better week than I am. It's almost Friday so there's that, and I have to rest up because I have a class tomorrow. Also, Gone Girl finally opens in theaters and I want and need to see this movie. Talk to you soon!
