It's FRIDAY! Finally the weekend is here. I can finally say that now that I'm in school being productive and tired, and just eager for the weekend. It's a long holiday weekend as well. How cool is that Labor Day is on September 1st? I think that's pretty cool. I have no clue what I'll be doing. I'm thinking of going to the beach, but I'm pretty sure it'll be quite packed, but when isn't the beach packed? Maybe I'll go to the movies, but in reality I think I'm just going to end up studying. My next break will be during Thanksgiving, so I guess I should make something out of my Labor Day weekend huh?

In the spirit of the holiday, Weekend Fashion Inspiration and DIY Round-Up's will be based on the long Labor Day weekend. Whether you'll be at home with your family, going to a BBQ or the beach, I got you covered my friends. I may or may not post Saturday and Sunday, it all depends on what I'll be doing, so I'll make the best out of these posts! I have class today, so I compiled these posts ahead of time.

Be safe out there and enjoy the long weekend!

Wednesday's are definitely my longest days at school. I was so beat and tired that I fell asleep before 11 last night. The downside is that I randomly woke up at 4 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I've been watching Batman Begins and writing this post to kill some time before dropping my sister off at school and then getting ready for my Thursday class. Anyway, is it pumpkin spice season yet? I am so ready for pumpkin spice anything! I love me some pumpkin spice. My mind is pretty blank right now, being so early and all, so I'll leave you guys to it. Talk to you soon!

Happy Tuesday everyone!I'm on my second day of classes. Yesterday was Screenwriting 3, a little intimidating and challenging but I'm all up for it. I have to start thinking of an idea for a "feature film" and I'm coming up blank. Hopefully I'll gain some inspiration this weekend when I don't have to think about school. Hopefully. Today is Film Production, which I'm kind of excited for. I finally get to dabble into the production aspect of filmmaking, also a little intimidating but my best friend reassured me and said to take these classes as if it were my job. And she's right.

Besides getting settled into this semester, everything is pretty much great. Nothing out of the ordinary, but just grateful to be fully back in school and hopeful for what's to come.

I hope you guys are having a great day so far. I may start writing what my day consists of every now and then, mostly ramblings.

Well, talk to you soon lovelies.

What a weekend of festivities guys. It was definitely a good way to end my "before I start my fall semester." Anyway, I'll be blogging goodies today and setting up posts for the rest of the week. Classes start again tomorrow, and my schedule is all over the place. Please hang in there. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. May you rest and enjoy your day!

Books: Summer Reading List

Like I promised yesterday, here is round 4 of my Summer Reading List. If you're wondering where I'm getting my recommendations, I'd like to thank my good friends Barnes & Noble. Like I've said before, I am open to suggestions and recommendations.

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty
The annual Trivia Night at Pirriwee School had always been a peaceful affair, but this year was different. First, there was a riot; then a parent was found dead; and before long, police investigators began piecing together clues of murder. Behind the apparent homicide are the intertwined stories of three women; their husbands and children; their ex-husbands and their new wives. This new novel by Liane Moriarty (The Husband's Secret; What Alice Forgot) unlocks secrets hidden deep in suburbia.

Here is my second edition to this year's Back To School playlist. I was inspired by Cher Horowitz and friends from Clueless, one of my favorite movies. Not in a "Mean Girl" kind of way, but more like "GIRL POWER." Who doesn't like Girl Power? Well, here it is loves. Enjoy!

TV: Orphan Black

I vaguely remember talking about Orphan Black here, but I must bring it up again. Why has Tatiana Maslany not been recognized for her awesomeness and ethic for her many roles in Orphan Black? She is absolutely brilliant for her work and I still can't believe she plays more than 5 clones...that's all her. Different characters. Different lives. It's mind blowing.

Movie: Guardians of The Galaxy

Can you believe that I never saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Captain America 2 nor Godzilla while they were out in theaters? Yeah me neither. Honestly, movie prices continue to rise and all these movies came out in the beginning of summer, one after the other. Girl didn't stand a chance. However, I will not let it happen again with Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm quite happy that it's doing so well in the movie world, and especially proud of Chris Pratt, whom I love dearly on Parks and Recreation. His career is shaping up to be pretty good, and I'm all for the Pratt. He is now a proper movie star and will continue is movie star status in Jurassic Park 4. Also, Zoe Saldana. She is officially the Sci-Fi girl with Avatar, Star Trek and now roaming in the Marvel Universe. One last person  I need to mention is Karen Gillan whom I also love. If you don't know who Karen Gillan is then I suggest you watch Doctor Who pronto, because I have a feeling she will be going places soon. So yes, I will be watching Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend and I will bask in all the glory.

Summer is winding down and what better to go all out with a new playlist? I felt nostalgic about summer and it's not even over yet, still, these songs get me thinking, hoping, wishing for more. I hope you like it, enjoy!

TV: The Killing

So The Killing season 4 is now streaming on Netflix, and I have been dedicated my time, my free time now that I'm off of school until the fall, to watching how The Killing will end.

It's a bummer that this is the final season, but I'm still praying to the Gods that be to prolong the show forever because IT'S SO GOOD! I love a good crime-drama with compelling characters especially when Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos have amazing chemistry. Give it a try guys, go watch The Killing!
