Mood Board: October

Trying to get back into the groove of things and I was feeling a little creative. I went mini shopping today and by that I mean that I went out to buy props for a shoot and I ended up buying a pair of jeans and a tartan skirt. Anything to make myself feel better, right? I'm totally dressing up like a Haim sister tomorrow, particularly Danielle. Between the three, my style is between Danielle and Este. My sister is definitely an Alana. So as you can see, they are sort of the reason I did this mood board. It was time for one anyway. I'm definitely feeling the Halloween spirit this year, but I'm also loving the plums and cranberry colors that simply speak fall. It doesn't get cold in Miami so I'm itching to travel to wherever it does get cold so that I can actually experience what fall is supposed to feel like. Ugh. I'm rambling now, please enjoy this months mood board!

Friday

I honestly don't know where to start. These past couple of months since my last post have been a whirlwind of WTF, chaos and more WTF's. Also, I really don't know HOW my laptop is someone working. I banged it and semi cleaned it with the air can compressor thingy, and it's been up and running since Sunday. I probably jinxed it just now. Well, let me just vent with what has been happening.

So many of you who still follow me know that I live in Florida, and if you have been living under a rock then let me tell you how Hurricane Irma came and went. It was pure chaos and panic wondering where exactly the eye of the hurricane was going to hit. Was it going north? was it going south?

Travel: Kennedy Space Center

We took my dad to the Kennedy Space Center the week before father's day, and I'm glad we did because he loved it. My family and I have been wanting to travel for a while now, even if it was for just a weekend, and I thought "where would my dad really enjoy himself?" Of course, I immediately thought about NASA and how much he loves watching everything space! So it was perfect. We went away for the weekend and went to the Space Center for a day. It's true when they say that you can't go through everything in a day, but from what we saw, it was pretty great. Besides the fact that it was raining there were places to hide and explore for hours.

Once we got there, the first thing we saw was the Rocket Garden. Again, it was raining, and at that time it was sprinkling, so we walked around and saw the different rockets. The name of the garden itself is self-explanatory.
